Amy requested this recipe. I don't have it written down. It's just something I put together. So, here goes . . . .
Mix one packet of cherry koolaid with one cup of sugar but only half the water and refrigerate.
Also, have refrigerated 1 liter of Sprite or Ginger Ale, and a small bottle of orange juice (about 8 oz).
Wash an orange really well, then slice into round rings and refrigerate.
Now, whenever everything's good and cold, you're ready to mix the punch. Sometimes, when I feel creative, I pour some of the cherry koolaid mix into an ice tray and freeze it and add it to the punch when I mix it.
So, get a big, beautiful bowl, and pour in the koolaid mixture, the orange juice, and add the soft drink to taste. Try half a liter first and see how it tastes.
Add frozen koolaid cubes and orange rings and you have Christmas Punch!

Whenever the Rileys are planning a menu and we want baked beans, Mike is our man. True to the tradition of some of the other cooks in our family, he doesn't always give exact amounts. You remember hearing phrases like "a pinch of this" or "a handful of that." Mike states "I never have a set amount of ingredients."
- 2 very large cans Pork and Beans
- Light brown sugar
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- BBQ sauce
- Medium onion

ANN RILEY'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE
The original recipe came from an Italian brother-in-law and was tweaked a little by Ann.
- 1 # ground sausage
- 1 large can whole tomatoes (you can cut them up a bit) This item has caused some debate in the Riley family. Some of us use 2 large cans whole tomatoes. Test it out.
- 1 large can tomatoe paste
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbs. oregano
- 1 Tbs. minced garlic
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
-Brown sausage and towards the end of browning add and saute the green pepper and onion
-Add tomatoe paste and an equal amount of water and stir
-Add all spices and continue to stir
-Break up tomatoes and add to mixture along with liquid that's in the can
-Cover and cook sauce on low heat for 30 minutes or longer until grease comes to the surface. (This is a sign the sauce is done.) Occasionally stir to keep sauce from sticking.
-Lift off grease if excessive.

ANN'S SAUSAGE BALL APPETIZERS
You can mix these up ahead of time and refrigerate and then cook later.

Thoroughly combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and shape into 1 inch balls. If serving immediately place on non-greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated over at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
