MOTHER ANN

Mom gave us a good measure of love. Even though we struggled at times (financially) we never once doubted her love. We knew she loved us and we loved her. We thrived on it.
That's what made us a family. - Patricia

This is the first wave of cousins Patrick was talking about.

This picture includes the first and second wave of cousins(with a few missing)

Our family always has fun when we're together.

There is that occasional serious moment.

Ann loved a good game of anything!

Ann's profession as a nurse was a good fit. She was friendly and compassionate and always had an ear to listen to someone who needed help.

This poem was given to me and was originally Aunt Lila's. I treasure it because it came from her. I know she always revered her Mother. And I revered my Mom, Ann Riley. I've always had this hanging in a little spot in my bedroom in my earlier home and in the one I now live in. We had it engraved on Mom's headstone as it truly described how we felt about her. I hope everyone has had a mother as described in this poem. Or a grandmother. Or a wonderful friend. - Patricia

MOTHER
To one who bears the sweetest name
And adds a luster to the same
Who shares my joys

Who cheers when sad
The greatest friend I ever had
